Receiver In Canal (RIC) Hearing Aids
At Claso we offer you a wide range of hearing aids, divided according to their characteristics. Among them you will find the Receivers in Canal (RIC). These hearing aids are mainly aimed at clients who have a mild to severe hearing loss. Their particularity lies in their design: they have the sound output inside the ear canal while the rest of the mechanism is outside, so their only visible part is the small plastic thread that connects both elements of the hearing aid, being very discreet aesthetically speaking.
Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, these hearing aids are also very comfortable. The small tip at the entrance to the ear canal fits snugly without the need to "stick" it, so that it softens the "wearing something in the ear" feeling, which can be a bit annoying.
In addition, most of the RIC hearing aids you'll find on Claso have the ability to minimise the noise caused by your own voice, or when you chew food.
If you decide to use one of these hearing aids, from Claso we recommend that you consider one important detail. This type of hearing aid requires a bit of manual dexterity in order to fit them correctly into your ear canal. This is a direct consequence of their discreet design, as the receiver, as mentioned before, is located at the end of a very thin and small plastic tube, and fitting it well can take a little practice.
If you want to make sure that you can wear one of these hearing aids, you can send us your audiogram or make an appointment with us so that we can carry out a complete hearing test for free. At Claso we care about your hearing health and your quality of life, and we won't let you choose a hearing aid blindly. This is an important decision, and don't doubt that we will accompany you throughout this process to ensure the best choice.
