How does my hearing aid's service distinguish from the contracted insurance?

 

This is a question we are asked often and it's important to clarify. Because it's not the same to have contracted a hearing aid insurance than a service for you and your hearing aids.

 

Your hearing aids' insurance is what you buy to cover, for example, part or all of the amount of your hearing aids for loss or theft.

 

In the case of the service, it is a question of having a several benefits at your disposal for your hearing aids and your hearing health.
To illustrate this better, in Claso for example we offer the service Claso Care where for 150 euros a year you have at your complete disposition audits and visits to the unrestricted hearing aid, maintenance, reprogramaciones or hearing aids in the case that you need a repair, among many others.

 

The Claso Care service guarantees that your hearing instruments are in full performance and faculties and also allows you to adjust your hearing aids according to your needs or to renew them when you need it. Because as you well know, hearing that you lose... hearing capacity that you don't recover.

 

With Claso Care you have a series of benefits included -that's more than true- but as we said, having a service available does not mean that if you lose or they steal from you a hearing aid, you have the option to renew it for free or at a lower cost, as this is part of the insurance.

 

Many of the brands that exist in the market usually offer insurance for loss or theft of hearing aids, where you pay a specific amount -when buying a hearing aid- in case you ever have an incident with one of your hearing aids. This way you can buy one again with the conditions you have contracted.
Having these insurance is very advantageous and can save you a lot of money if you ever have an incident, although the numbers at the time of insurance may seem too much.
