New Marvel retros hearing aids
It is undeniable that the hearing instrument industry is experiencing incredible advances as new technologies become available. Phonak is not far behind and will be introducing its new Bolero Marvel hearing system range very soon.
Bolero is the name Phonak uses for its Behind-The-Ear (BTE) hearing systems. The new Bolero Marvel consists of two styles of BTE hearing aids available in four levels of technology. The model will be available in two versions: Bolero Marvel M and Bolero Marvel PR.
Both devices are only suitable for moderate to severe hearing loss, so they are not powerful enough for people with severe to profound or profound hearing loss.
In Claso we have a wide range of hearing aids from the firm and soon, we will also introduce these new models.
Bolero Marvel M hearing aids
The Bolero Marvel M is a quite discreet mini BTE with a multifunctional button, similar to the button used in the Audeo. It can be equipped with a thin tube or an earhook for traditional tubes and moulds.
It will cover hearing losses of up to 75 dB at low frequencies to 95 dB at high frequencies. That, of course, depends on the configuration, because for example with the thin tube installed, it is reduced to 80 to 85 dB in the high frequencies.
The M has all the features of the Marvel with a direct connection to any Bluetooth mobile phone and Roger devices. However, it does not have a built-in telecoil, so there is no connection to a magnetic loop system.
Bolero Marvel PR hearing aids
The Bolero Marvel PR is a little larger than the M, but still relatively discreet. It uses the same multifunctional button as the M. The PR is a rechargeable hearing aid powered by a lithium-ion battery that can be equipped with a thin tube or an earhook for traditional tubes and molds.
The PR will cover hearing losses of up to 80 dB at low frequencies to 100 dB at high frequencies. That, of course, depends on the configuration, with the thin tube installed, which is reduced to 70 at low frequencies and 90 dB at high frequencies.
The PR has all the features of the Marvel platform with a direct connection to any Bluetooth mobile phone and Roger devices. It also has an integrated telecoil, so it can be used to connect to a magnetic loop system. Phonak states that it will get a full day of use with a single charge and that the time of use is similar to that of Audeo.
