In addition to the new hearing aid, Phonak is also launching the extensive Phonak Infinio platform, which operates with the new Phonak ERA ultra-fast response chip. This chip redefines standards for sound quality, energy management, and connectivity, reducing effort and auditory fatigue for users while significantly extending the range of Bluetooth connection.


Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio is the first hearing aid equipped with dual-chip artificial intelligence technology. In addition to the ERA chip, the device also includes DEEPSONIC, a deep neural network chip with real-time artificial intelligence exclusive to Sonova’s patented research and development. This advancement has enabled optimal speech comprehension for group conversations in noisy backgrounds.

Complicated environments will no longer be a problem; Phonak Audéo Sphere Infinio has 53 times more processing power compared to current hearing aid technology, allowing it to instantly separate clear speech from background noise like no other on the market. The Infinio platform retains the adaptive SmartSpeech technology, which includes the speech enhancement feature designed to improve the audibility of soft sounds, such as a quiet voice or speech from a distance.

Infinio features universal connectivity and immediate compatibility with all Bluetooth devices, making it easier and quicker to connect to smartphones. The ERA chip is designed to be highly sensitive, allowing users to switch between audio streaming and acoustic input without interrupting the conversation. This results in more stable connectivity and consistent audio quality, even while moving during streaming from a phone or other Bluetooth device. Although the RIC Infinio hearing aids do not have a telephone coil, the ERA chip is equipped to support Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) audio and is compatible with Auracast.
